Shipping
We now offer same day shipping for orders placed Monday to Friday before 12pm for delivery to a Sydney Metro Address. More info here.
The Minimalist ships with Australia Post. We aim to ship your order ASAP! If you need something urgently please let us know and we will do our best to help you get your order when you need it. Usually orders ship within 3 days. Delivery times will vary depending on your location.
* Within Australia is 1-7 days. WA can be up to 12 days.
* International orders shipped with Air Mail can be 10-20 days. Warning! Sea Mail is extremely slow! Your order can take up to 3 months to arrive.
We can ship to some international locations with an Express service - just contact us.
* We do offer free local pick up from Surry Hills. We do not hold any stock in our studio - we will arrange your order for you at the warehouse and email you to make a time for you to collect that suits you.
If for any reason we are unable to dispatch your order we will notify you within 5 business days.
Please note some products are made to order and the lead times will vary but will always be displayed with the item to avoid any confusion. Unfortunately due to the nature of our business some products will sell out in a short amount of time and may not be able to be re ordered.
Please note: if you order multiple items and one or more of the items incurs a made to order lead time, your order will not be shipped until it is complete, if you wish for your order to be sent in multiple shipments please email us with your order details.
We ship anywhere! If there is no delivery quoted for your country please email us and we will calculate a shipping price for you. All international customers are responsible for any duties and import taxes incurred and any return shipping costs.
All transactions are processed in AUD. For payment we accept Visa and MasterCard or PayPal. We do not accept personal or corporate cheques, or cash.
Returns
We accept returns within 5 days of you receiving your order's delivery, but you must notify us within 2 days. We will issue a full refund (less the return shipping costs, and outbound if your order qualified for free shipping) as long as the merchandise is in its original condition, and has all its packaging, inserts and tags intact. If you decide to return your purchase email us at returns (at) theminimalist.com.au and we will send you instructions. You will be responsible for the return shipping cost (including the necessary insurance). However, if the product is defective, contact us at and we will arrange for the merchandise to be picked up from you.
When emailing us about your return please make sure that you include your name, address, telephone number, order number, and e-mail address.
Damaged items
We inspect and pack our products carefully to ensure that you receive them in perfect condition. If you do receive a damaged item please contact us at returns (at) theminimalist.com.au to arrange a replacement (within two days of receiving the shipment). Please keep the original items and all packaging material. We will require a photograph of the damaged item in order to provide a replacement.
Out of stock items
We do our best to keep enough stock of all items displayed on our website at any given time. Occasionally, however, due to the nature of our business some items will become out of stock, this will be indicated on the product detail page. Where possible you can email us about out-of-stock items and we will contact you with an estimated delivery time.
Special order items
The Minimalist offers a concise collection of carefully selected pieces. Included in this collection may be an item that is made to order and therefore not in stock, the lead time will be displayed on the product detail page. Lead times are an estimate only and may vary.
